Our Story
Jonas Marc Style Studio was created in May of 2012 by Kathy Marcus with the love and collaboration of some of her closest family and friends. The studio was named after and inspired by her Swiss Foreign Exchange Student, Jonas Marc Steffen. Kathy has over 25 years of experience in the Salon and Spa Industry. In May of 2019, Kathy partnered with one of her long-time stylists Alisha and together they have helped Jonas Marc Style Studio grow into 2 creative locations on the Grand Strand. Carolina Forest and Arcadian Shores.
Kathy’s passion for making people look and feel their best and her love of all things business prompted the opening of the Carolina Forest Studio in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Just one year into business in May of 2013, the studio leased the store beside them and expanded to accommodate additional styling stations and spa services. Fast forward 7 years along with a lot of hard work and a dedicated team, Jonas Marc expanded to the opening of their second location with Partner Alisha. Alisha Shares Kathy’s passion for the beauty industry. She has worked for the Jonas Marc Company since 2014. Alisha loved the brand and the foundation this salon was built on. Jonas Marc Studios have a drive for continued education, and a hunger to be the market leader with a true “Modern, Chic, Sophisticated” approach. With over 10 years in the industry, Alisha knew becoming a part of this salon company would be a huge success, especially owning hand in hand with her friend, mentor, and partner, Kathy.
Our Accomplishments
As of today, Jonas Marc Style Studio in Myrtle Beach has won well over 44 Awards from the Reader’s Choice Awards, the Best of the Beach, and the Grand Strand Happening. The awards include The Best: Hair Salon, Day Spa, Haircut, Hair Color, Manicure, Pedicure, Facial, Men’s Grooming, Updo, Makeup, Waxing, and Stylists.

Our team prides itself on providing our guests “excellence” in customer service and artistry. We stand behind our work 100% and our team will do our very best to make sure that your services and experience in our studios are always handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
